The film begins with Walter ‘Robby’ Robinson as the head of Spotlight assigned to start investigation of child molestation in the Church. In that, he gets help of Sacha Pfeiffer (Rachel McAdams), Michael Rezendes (Mark Ruffalo), Mitchell Garabedian (Stanley Tucci) and many others who are about to begin to trace the steps to one of the biggest crime stories involved with Catholic Church in Boston. But by the time the Spotlight team gets deep into their investigation, they realize the truth is about to shake the society and ruin the Church’s reputation. But does it really matter if this can help stop child rape and bring forth the priest who hides behind the Holy Wall?
