As an activist for years, he is getting ready for the presidential election, hoping to represent his country in the best way possible. Camilla Nielsson, as a director armed with the camera, follows the young politician on his quest to restore Zimbabwe as a free and democratic country with possibilities for all.

The ruling party in Zimbabwe, The Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) has controlled the country since independence. It’s the same party Chamisa must defeat. The documentary provides an impressive insight into the political climate of Zimbabwe, rigged and corrupt election, the system that is bigger than any institution. As the documentary focuses on the upcoming election, everything will be in line to fight for the dignity of the country, and that has been captured powerfully in “President.”
