Set in Greece, “Monday” follows Chloe (Denise Gough) and Mickey (Sebastian Stan) who had no idea what life had in store for them when they meet each other. Their affair begins unexpectedly. Within hours, if not instantly, they fall for each other. As the minutes pass by and the day switches from one to another, the challenges of their quick relationship begins to unfold, but no matter what happens to them, it seems nothing can break them apart, or can something?

With absolutely impressive performances delivered by Sebastian Stan as Mickey and Denise Gough as Chloe, the film offers an unprecedented look into the life of the two, their ups and downs, insanity and madness. They will drive each other nuts. They will make love, fight, have an argument over a couch. But that is the circle of life the two will have to go through to realize, if they can handle this, can they handle each other for the rest of their lives?

Written by Argyris Papadimitropoulos and Rob Hayes and directed by Argyris Papadimitropoulos, “Monday” is one of the most refreshing love stories you will see in decades. It is brave, filled with great chemistry between the lead stars, storyline and a bit of craziness that each passionate relationship may have. There is something surreal about this film. The more you watch it, the more you become relaxed and worried at the same time. Because it is simply some brilliant storytelling at its best.
