Accidents do occur on the road. Some are fatal, unfortunately. But what if, during one of those moments, the driver of the vehicle disappears without a trace to miraculously reappear later on? And with no memory of the last few days of their absence?

It was a dark but very quiet night when Cecilia (Mariana Anghileri) and her son Martín end up in a terrible accident where their car rolled over down into a forest. Three days later, the woman, confused and lost, appears, but without her son. At the hospital, the police begin to ask questions but Cecilia is unable to provide a coherent answer. Determined, however, to find her missing son, the woman escapes the hospital in search of a religious man who, perhaps, holds the key to the mystery of the car accident and to the inexplicable events that begin to occur after.

Argentinian filmmaker Daniel de la Vega returns to the film festival circuit with his solid horror film “On the Third Day”. Mixed with the flavors of supernatural powers, thriller, horror and a bit of drama, the film uses all the abovementioned elements with dark photography to capture the horror of Cecilia, her misery and devotion. We don’t know much about what happened during those three days. But once the story unfolds, you will be satisfied with its conclusion, and how well it was structured from start to finish.
