Toronto — The 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is set to dazzle cinephiles once again with its impressive lineup. This year, the festival will open with David Gordon Green’s Nutcrackers, starring Ben Stiller, on September 5, and close with Rebel Wilson’s directorial debut, The Deb, on September 15. Both films will make their world premieres at the prestigious Roy Thomson Hall as part of the Gala programme, generously sponsored by Dyson.

Film Synopses:

The Deb: In her directorial debut, Rebel Wilson brings an original musical comedy about two teenage cousins in a small country town in Australia.
